I've heard Opie get angry before, but I've never heard him get as genuinely emotional as he did at the end of today's show. Since Opie does not have a public email, I wanted to show my support somehow and figured if anyone else wanted to do it, they could do so in this thread. If you think it's cheesy or dumb, then whatever, fuck off...

Opie,
You have always said that O&A fans are among the most loyal fans out there. You sound emotionally drained and I genuinely feel for you. It has to be an extremely hard thing to deal with while having to go to work everyday and trying to concentrate on the show. I personally would not be able to deal with something like this the way that you have, and I admire that about you. I hope this Chancey prick gets what's coming to him very soon. I just wanted to let you know that we the fans are with you and will continue to support you through this incredibly frustrating time for you and your fiancee. All the best.

It has to be said, regardless of the ass he portrays on the air, any time I've met Opie, he's always appeared to be a genuine nice guy. If he's like that to his fans, I've gotta believe he's a pretty dam nice guy when it comes to his employees. Bottom line, him and his chick certainly do not deserve to be going through this shit. I'm so glad someone started a thread like this one. In the 8+ years I've been listening to the show, I've never heard Opie and Anthony go at it the way they did on air today.
I've got to say though, I side with Opie on this one. Opie gets talked over so much on the show, it irritates ME so I can't imagine how he feels. He's always saying "just let me get this out" or "let me say this real fast"... the one day he really genuinely needed to get something serious out in the open and off his chest, it was a time to let him do so and just support him, not make car-crash worthy jokes/puns. Sorry Anthony, I love ya and obviously I don't know what goes on behind the scenes but there are my two cents.
Anyway, Gregg/Opie, I feel for you buddy and I'm so sorry you're going through all this bullshit. Lindsay does NOT deserve it, from what you and others have said about her on air she seems like a great chick who never tried to throw herself out there for exposure. It's a really low fucking blow to drag HER name through the mud just to get at YOU.
I hope you, Anthony and Jimmy can all kiss and make up too by the way. Hope tomorrow isn't too uncomfortable!
